I am so excited about being here today. I look around and see about 150 people up early this morning to help the homeless find services and resources they need, including foot massages and haircuts. When I lok around, I can't help but feel a bit isolated because I am one of about 8 people of color, not including the bi-lingual speakers and I can't help but wonder why this is... where are my people at? Where are you? Oh wait.... I just saw another one, a young black man with a gorgeous mane of hair....that brings my count to 9... and he's with DU..good.
