I love living in the area I do. The snow falls silently and I can't hear anything but the sound of the wind in the trees and against the houses. The air is cold and clean and the snow is brilliantly white. It smells.... well it smells like a Colorado winter with faint hints of burning firewood.
I am putting more effort into maintaining my vow to journal and blog more. Not as a resolution but as a do-it-and-stick-to-it your of thing. My thoughts are alive and need to be stored somewhere.
Since it's cold and snowy, I've decided to stay in my room.. cleaning, reading, researching, emailing, watching movies, and otherwise being me. I bought Thai for lunch and the boys loved it. They are doing the same as me... minus the labor-intensive hair care session.
This session contains the following:
1. ACV rinse
2. Bentonite clay application
3. Wash and deep condition
4. Henna application
5. Rinse
6. Dry and set- in large flat twists to stretch the hair
7. Style- Bantu knots*
*this may or may not be done today. Depends on the time and my level of tiredness.
